System Architect

Responsibilities

  • Develop and align the architecture of the solution portfolio, ensuring compliance with business requirements, cross-system dependencies, and various technical and operational constraints
  • Advocate for and effectively defend proposed architectural decisions with key stakeholders
  • Provide technical governance and oversight throughout the implementation lifecycle of solutions
  • Facilitate decision-making processes through cross-functional reviews and presentations to the Architecture Committee
  • Actively contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of ArchOps practices and processes
  • Define clear areas of responsibility and ownership boundaries for services and systems within the technical portfolio
  • Establish and maintain technical standards and best practices governing system operations

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in an architectural role
  • 5+ years of prior hands-on experience in software development
  • Proficiency in C4 and BPMN notations, with demonstrated ability to interpret, create, and communicate process and system descriptions.
  • Experience in defining and documenting non-functional requirements (NFRs) for systems and products
  • Proven track record in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing technical and architectural documentation
  • In-depth knowledge of integration technologies, protocols, and specifications, including HTTP, REST API, RPC, and WebSocket
  • Strong expertise in both relational and non-relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis)
  • Solid experience in designing and architecting solutions leveraging message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka
  • Comprehensive understanding of software architecture principles and the distinguishing characteristics of various technology stacks
  • Practical experience working with microservices architecture
  • Experience in conducting architectural and solution audits/reviews
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher – mandatory
  • Foundational knowledge of information security principles and practices
  • Capability to design architecture capable of handling large-scale data volumes
  • Prior involvement in certification initiatives (e.g., ISO, ISMS, GDPR)
  • Working experience with the .NET technology stack
  • Hands-on experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with enterprise API management platforms and access authorization frameworks
  • Practical knowledge of API gateway implementation and usage
  • Experience in optimizing database interactions, including tools and techniques such as Database Poolers, CDC (Change Data Capture), and implementing at-least-once delivery patterns
