Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and TeamCity
- Automate deployments, environment configuration, and configuration management using PowerShell and Ansible
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and enhance the centralized automation platform based on AWX
- Design, develop, and maintain the platform based on HashiCorp Nomad
- Integrate Nomad with Vault and Consul, automate deployment processes, and troubleshoot workload execution issues
- Administer Vault and Consul, configure access policies, ACLs, KV stores, and service integrations
- Maintain Nexus and Artifactory and support .NET application build and delivery processes
- Develop and improve monitoring, logging, and observability systems
- Investigate infrastructure incidents, participate in postmortems, and implement preventive measures
- Improve infrastructure resilience and ensure infrastructure changes are repeatable and predictable
- Identify and remediate configuration drift through automation and standardization
- Collaborate with development teams and systems engineers on infrastructure and operational matters
Requirements
- Strong hands-on production experience with Windows infrastructure and Active Directory
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and hands-on experience with Group Policy (GPO)
- Strong PowerShell skills and experience developing production-grade solutions using functions, modules, development standards, and best practices
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience automating Windows infrastructure with Ansible
- Hands-on production experience designing, deploying, and operating HashiCorp Nomad
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault and Consul
- Experience building .NET applications using MSBuild and dotnet build and working with NuGet dependencies
- Production experience with IIS and Windows Services
- Understanding of PKI principles and certificate management
- Experience with Nexus and/or Artifactory
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and/or OpenSearch
- Understanding of observability principles and hands-on experience using metrics, logs, and traces for incident troubleshooting
- Understanding of service isolation and runtime models, including virtualization, process isolation, and containers
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, operating systems, applications, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of service-to-service communication, including REST APIs, message queues, and RPC
- Ability to read C# and/or Go code for troubleshooting purposes
- Basic knowledge of Linux
- Experience with Hyper-V, AWX, OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes/k3s, and development in C# or Go would be an advantage
Working Conditions
- Official employment in accordance with Cyprus labor law
- Office-based work, Monday to Friday, with flexible start time between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM
